Monsters and Miracles: A Journey through Jewish Picture Books
The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming by Lemony Snicket with illustrations by Lisa Brown
is on display at the Eric Carle Museum.
The exhibition is a collaboration with the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles and the Yiddish Book Center, and showcases more than 100 illustrations and texts from time-honored classics and popular favorites. This new exhibition guides audiences through the colorful history of the Jewish picture book, from the sixteenth century to the present. Don’t miss this show and the related programming!
